The event, organized by the Alt Pirineu Natural Park and the Esterri de Cardós City Council, aims to showcase the diversity of products made in the area. Furthermore, the fair focuses on the Aranese sheep, an indigenous breed historically linked to the northern valleys of Pallars Sobirà and its connection to the French territory and the Aran Valley.
This year's program is part of the European Day of Parks, under the theme 'Connected by nature'. During Sunday's activities, visitors can enjoy an agri-food and craft market, workshops, guided tours of the Church of Ginestarre, and a sheep shearing competition. The gastronomic offer will include a popular lunch featuring Aranese breed lamb.
A highlight of this edition will be the presentation of the Fet al Parc brand, an initiative created to increase the visibility of projects and products developed within protected natural areas. The event thus establishes itself as a meeting point to celebrate life in mountain villages.
