EnroCA’T Chess Circuit Kicks Off in Palau d’Anglesola with 43 Young Players

The Palau d’Anglesola hosted on Saturday the first event of the EnroCA’T Circuit, a chess competition for children and young people aged 6 to 16, organized by the Consell Esportiu del Pla d’Urgell, the Club d’Escacs Mollerussa, and the Town Council of Palau d’Anglesola.

The event brought together a total of 43 chess players of different ages and from various educational centers in the region.
The winners of the first stop were Joan Marc Cuenca (IES Guissona) in the cadet category; Ànnia Sans (IES Josep Vallverdú de les Borges Blanques) in the under-14 category; Dídac Riu (Col·legi Mare de Déu de Montserrat de les Borges Blanques) in the under-12 category; Fabrizio Carvajal (Escola Vedruna de Tàrrega) in the under-10 category; and Dídac Sans (Escola Albirka d’Arbeca) in the under-8 category.
Following this debut in Palau d’Anglesola, the EnroCA’T Circuit will continue on November 14 in Vilanova de Bellpuig.
