Mollerussa achieved an epic 2-2 home draw against Europa B on Sunday, January 11, securing a crucial point thanks to a goal by Lamin in stoppage time.

The match started frantically at the Mollerussa Municipal Sports Field, with a penalty caused by Scuri in the first minute. Captain Guillem Porta converted the penalty against Álvaro, making it 1-0. Manel Cazorla's team showed good pace, despite missing clear chances, such as the one Marc Scuri had.
After the break, Europa B came out strongly. In the 48th minute, Anglès equalized with a volley. Tension escalated with the sending off of Alpha due to a second yellow card, and shortly after, a great collective play allowed Fuster to complete the comeback, making the score 1-2.

A point salvaged in extremis that keeps the Pla d'Urgell team's survival options alive.

When the match seemed lost, in the 93rd minute, Scuri crossed from the left wing and Lamin, diving to the ground, managed to deflect the ball to establish the definitive 2-2 score epically. Lamin himself had a chance to win the game in the final seconds but sent the ball over the crossbar.
With this draw, Mollerussa is placed in the last position of the table with 13 points, two points away from the safety zone. Their next match will be at home against Manresa on Sunday, January 18 at 12 p.m.
