'Banyolí de l'Any' Awards Reach 18th Edition

Banyoles City Council launches the public voting process to recognize the achievements of outstanding citizens and entities in the city.

Banyoles City Council has opened the voting period for the 18th edition of the 'Banyolí de l'Any' awards, accolades that recognize the achievements of citizens, companies, and entities that have stood out for their contribution to the city.

Banyoles City Council has presented the 18th edition of the ‘Banyolí de l’Any’ awards, accolades intended to recognize citizens, companies, entities, or associations that have brought the city's name far and wide. The awardees will be announced at an event to be held on Friday, September 18th, at the Auditori l’Ateneu de Banyoles.
With the aim of distinguishing and valuing the work carried out by individuals, companies, entities, or associations from Banyoles, the awards are presented in 4 categories: Best Social Initiative, Best Business Initiative, Personal Trajectory, and Banyolí of the Year.
The mayor of Banyoles, Miquel Noguer, highlighted the continuity of the awards, which celebrate their 18th edition this year, stating that "there continue to be projects and initiatives driven by local people that are noteworthy and transcend borders".
From Monday, August 31st, until Wednesday, September 9th, candidates can be chosen by sending proposals through the Banyoles City Council website (www.banyoles.cat) or via the council's mobile application.
