Miravet Castle will be the venue for the Riu de Veus festival on Saturday, June 27th, celebrating Catalan linguistic diversity with performances by artists including David Carabén, Xarim Aresté, and Meritxell Gené.

The second edition of the Riu de Veus festival will take place at Miravet Castle on Saturday, June 27th. The event focuses on the linguistic diversity of the Catalan language and the musical sounds of the Terres de l'Ebre region. This year's invited artists include singer David Carabén, leader of the band Mishima; Flix-based musician Xarim Aresté; and Lleida singer Meritxell Gené.
Under the artistic direction of Miravet musician Èric Vinaixa, Riu de Veus offers a unique experience designed for the castle. The three artists will perform notable songs from their repertoire, accompanied by a musical ensemble created specifically for the festival and composed entirely of musicians from the Terres de l'Ebre.
The concert will begin at 9:30 PM, with the performers sharing the stage and alternating their acts throughout the evening. The organization will provide a bus service at 8:00 PM and 12:00 AM to facilitate access to and from the castle. Advance tickets cost 10 euros, and on the day of the concert, they will be 12 euros. The capacity is limited to 250 seats within the castle's sovereign enclosure.
The Riu de Veus festival is part of the cultural revitalization initiatives promoted by the Catalan Agency for Cultural Heritage of the Department of Culture and the Miravet City Council, aiming to bring monumental heritage closer to the public.
