The R15 passenger train line partially resumed its service this Monday between Móra la Nova and Reus, following the interruption caused by Storm Harry at the end of January.

The reopening, which comes after months of inactivity, does not yet imply a complete normalization, as the section has eleven temporary speed restrictions. Furthermore, the connection between Móra la Nova and Riba-roja d'Ebre remains closed.
Four daily journeys per direction have been scheduled, stopping at all stations. These are complemented by six coaches connecting Móra la Nova and Reus, stopping only at Les Borges del Camp, and two additional coaches that stop at all stations. The first train bound for Barcelona departed from Móra la Nova shortly after 6:30 AM, followed by another after 9:30 AM.

The train that had passed through Falset with about fifteen minutes of delay, added five more minutes during its passage through les Borges del Camp.

Despite the resumption, passenger numbers have been low, with about fifteen users on one of the first trains. The stations of Móra la Nova and Les Borges Blanques show a notable state of neglect, with inoperative ticket machines and outdated information. In Les Borges Blanques, even the tracks show dirt and tall vegetation, although one of the tracks is currently being renovated.
This reopening facilitates the connection to Barcelona for residents of Ribera d'Ebre, Priorat, and part of Baix Camp. However, due to ongoing works in the Garraf tunnels, passengers must transfer by coach from Sant Vicenç de Calders to El Prat de Llobregat to continue their journey by train to the Catalan capital.
