The Camprodon Municipal Library has launched its 2026-2027 Reading Club season with a session dedicated to Toni Morrison's 'Song of Solomon', and has announced the next meeting on January 30th focusing on Kazuo Ishiguro's 'The Remains of the Day'.

The Reading Club at the Camprodon Municipal Library has kicked off its 2026-2027 season. The first session of the course focused on "Song of Solomon", a work by the American author Toni Morrison, who was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1993.
The meeting, held last Saturday, October 17th, brought together club participants to share impressions and reflections on this novel, which addresses themes such as identity, family roots, memory, and the search for one's origins. The session allowed for the exchange of different interpretations of the work and further consolidated the club as a space for literary dialogue.
The next Reading Club session will be dedicated to "The Remains of the Day", by author Kazuo Ishiguro, a Nobel Prize in Literature laureate in 2017. The meeting will take place on Saturday, January 30th, 2027, at 11 AM, at the Camprodon Municipal Library.
With this new season, the Municipal Library continues to promote reading and offer a space to share reading experiences and delve into works by prominent international authors.
