The ordinary session of the Ripoll City Council plenary, held on Tuesday, July 28, at the Sala Eudald Pradell, began at 7:30 PM with the approval of minutes from previous sessions. The meeting was attended by all 17 council members and was broadcast via streaming.
In the General Administration Area, an agreement was approved between the Ripoll City Council and a private individual for the payment of the expropriation of the property at Carrer Berenguer el Vell number 4, known as “Ca la Paula”. This operation, valued at €422,291.65, is part of the Pla de Barris project. The proposal received 15 votes in favor and two abstentions from the Alternativa per Ripoll-CUP group.
Subsequently, in the Treasury Area, initial approval was given to credit modification 09/2026. This modification allocates €200,000 to playgrounds, €120,000 to the rehabilitation of workshops in El Pla, and €33,000 to security and access controls for areas such as the Font del Tòtil. These funds are financed by available cash reserves. The vote included 14 favorable votes and 3 abstentions from the ERC Ripoll group.
Regarding motions from the municipal groups, a proposal to support the Association for the Recovery of Historical Memory of Llagostera was unanimously approved. A motion supporting the Consortium for the Protection and Management of Protected Natural Areas of Ripollès as the managing entity for the Serra de Milany Protected Natural Area, presented by Aliança Catalana, was also unanimously approved.
The session concluded at 9:01 PM. The next ordinary plenary session will not be held in August, with the following one scheduled for late September.
