The work concluded this Tuesday with the testimony of the official responsible for the National Intelligence Center (CNI) in the Girona region at the time of the events. The commission's secretariat has set June 9 as the deadline for parliamentary groups to submit their conclusions. These documents will be essential for drafting the final report that must be put to a vote. Groups now have the opportunity to reach a consensus on the key points of the text.
Throughout this year, the commission has analyzed multiple perspectives on the formation of the jihadist cell in Ripoll and the role of the imam considered the mastermind of the attacks. This process has served to question the coordination of security forces and intelligence services, as well as to focus on the declassification of documents related to the imam's figure.
