The Llanars City Council has started working on the 2027 Single Plan for Works and Services of Catalonia (PUOSC), where it plans to present two key projects for the municipality.

The main project will be the construction of a building for a municipal sports warehouse. This new facility will be used to store materials and, importantly, the machinery used by the municipal brigade staff. According to Mayor Amadeu Rosell, the goal is to keep the machines in good condition and centralize brigade and sports equipment. This project, deemed necessary, will receive a subsidy of 313,460 euros from the PUOSC. Rosell highlighted that investing in machinery is a strategy to compensate for staff shortages and increase the brigade's work capacity.
The second project presented by the council involves repairing the pavement on the streets of the town center, with particular attention to the upper part of the town where the deterioration is most evident. This work includes repaving roads and repairing damaged sidewalks and drains. For this second phase, the allocated subsidy amounts to 111,436 euros.
