Campdevànol's Station Neighborhood unveils a dozen artistic murals, the result of an initiative by the local council through the Grafftech festival, celebrating the theme of iron and forging.

The urban landscape of Campdevànol's Station Neighborhood has been enriched with a dozen new murals painted on the facades of several buildings. This initiative, driven by the local council through the Grafftech festival, has brought together twelve artists who have been working over recent days to transform the surroundings.
The creators, hailing from various parts of the world, have joined forces under the central theme of iron and forging, a distinctive symbol of the municipality. David de León, one of the participating Mexican artists, highlighted the positive reception from residents and the visual coherence of the works. "We talk about mining and iron, and I had to paint a wood-carrying donkey cart, so I added a donkey carrying wood," explained de León.
The participants positively value the thematic unity of the murals, which create a graphic and visual narrative accessible to citizens. "What is being done here is very special. There is a clear theme, a guide that is followed for painting, and which ultimately gives us a graphic and visual narrative that the citizen can follow and identify with," commented one of the artists.
The artworks, which required four days of intensive work, are now on display. The official inauguration of these new artistic spaces in the Station Neighborhood is scheduled for this Saturday.
