The incident occurred when a quad bike overturned on a forest track. The alert was received at 9:39 AM, and the rescue helicopter with the Special Operations Group (GRAE) was activated.
Emergency teams attended to the injured driver at the scene. After immobilizing him, it was decided to evacuate him by helicopter to the Olot Fire Station. There, an ambulance from the Emergency Medical System (SEM) was waiting to continue medical care and transfer.
