Activities will begin on Monday, September 14th, and Tuesday, September 15th, with a road safety education park for 3rd-grade primary students from all the town's schools. This park will be set up in the Plaça de la Lira and will involve the Servei Català de Trànsit, Local Police, and the City Council's Education service.
In the coming days, the Local Police will also give road safety talks in schools for 1st-grade primary students. Additionally, soon, the Civic Agent will explain the School Routes project to the centers, an initiative aimed at reducing traffic in the urban area, improving road safety, and encouraging alternatives to motor vehicles.
On Friday, September 18th, the 'Walk for Active Aging' will take place. At 10:30 AM, the route will start from the Esteve Badia track in the Sant Pere neighborhood, with an urban circuit concluding with a hot chocolate in the Plaça de la Lira. This activity is open to everyone and will include participants from the Fundació Guifré.
This year also includes the sixth edition of the Cursa de la Dona (Women's Race), scheduled for Sunday, September 20th, at 10:30 AM, starting from the Plaça del Monestir. This inclusive and solidarity event will donate its proceeds to the Oncolliga Foundation.
