Train services on the R3 line have been suspended this Saturday between Ripoll and Ribes de Freser, in the Ripollès region, due to an alleged sabotage of the catenary.

The railway operator Adif reported that the vandalism affected the infrastructure, leaving a train stranded on the tracks due to a lack of power. Renfe has confirmed that an investigation has been launched to clarify the events.
As a provisional measure, an alternative bus service has been arranged to connect the two affected stations, ensuring passenger mobility.
This incident adds to another issue on the R11 line, where a train was stopped between Figueres and Portbou for the same reason. Although power was restored by midday between Figueres and Llançà, traffic on the R11 remains single-track between Llançà and Portbou, with selective cancellations on medium-distance trains and an average delay of 15 minutes.
