Movistar customers in Sant Joan de les Abadesses have experienced a new internet connection outage. The incident occurred in the early hours of Thursday to Friday, around three in the morning, leaving the municipality in Ripollès without service.
Although the exact causes have not yet been officially confirmed, suspicions point to a new copper theft. According to initial reports, the alleged theft may have occurred at a point located between the towns of Ripoll and Olot.
The company's technical teams began working early this morning to restore the connection. The company has stated that if the issue cannot be resolved today, repair work will continue throughout Saturday to ensure service normalization.
