Students from Catalan courses in Cervera gathered today to celebrate Castanyada with a panellets contest, voting on the best creations across various categories.

The three participating groups, Inicial 2, Bàsic 1, and Bàsic 3, enjoyed the activity and voted on the panellets based on four criteria: tastiest, most original, most beautiful, and class favorite.
The event also featured a visit from Lourdes, Youth Technician, and Maria, Youth Employment Support Technician, from the Oficina Jove de la Segarra (Segarra Youth Office). They presented the activities and resources available for young people in the region.
This gathering aimed to introduce these services and highlight the importance of practicing Catalan in daily activities and youth participation spaces.
