After more than half a century offering cakes, pastries, and traditional 'coques', the Agustí family, who have managed the business for three generations on Santa Anna street, have announced the closure. The family expressed their gratitude to their customers for "the trust and support over all these years".
Despite the pastry shop's closure, the business will not disappear entirely, as a new commercial venture as a cafeteria is planned to open soon, thus maintaining the business's presence in the city.

This closure adds to the recent loss of other emblematic businesses in the area, such as the sweet shop La Caputxeta Dolça in Lleida, which shut down a year after the death of its owner, Marc Sangrà. Other businesses in the same commercial Eix of Lleida that have also closed include the bookstore El Genet Blau, Calucho Ciclisme, and the toy store Trèvol.
