The 2026 MotoGP World Championship heads to the Austrian Grand Prix at the Red Bull Ring, with Marc Márquez and Jorge Martín tied at the top of the overall standings.

The fifth round of the championship will take place at the Austrian circuit following Marc Márquez's recent victory at the San Marino Grand Prix. In Misano, the Ducati rider stood on the top step of the podium, accompanied by teammates Àlex Márquez and Pedro Acosta.
With this win, Marc Márquez has accumulated 274 points, the same as Jorge Martín. The rider from Cervera holds the top position thanks to a greater number of victories, five compared to Martín's one.
In Friday's Practice session at the Red Bull Ring, Pedro Acosta set the fastest time with 1:28.381. Marc Márquez finished fourth, Jorge Martín fifth, and Àlex Márquez eighth.
