Rural Agents have declared a very high fire risk this Sunday in 30 municipalities across eight counties in central and western Catalonia, activating the Alfa plan at level 3.

The counties affected by the high risk are Alt Urgell, Anoia, Noguera, Ribera d’Ebre, Segarra, Segrià, Solsonès, and Terra Alta. In these areas, citizens are urged to exercise extreme caution in any outdoor activities to prevent fires from spreading.
This alert comes as the Generalitat Firefighters continue to work on the agricultural and forest vegetation fire in Sanaüja, which is now under control. Additionally, this morning they extinguished a small fire in Badalona, specifically near the Montigalà bridge on the B-20. This fire affected approximately 100 square meters of undergrowth and pine forest, without reaching the treetops.
