Emergency services have ordered the lockdown of several population centers in Segarra and Conca de Barberà due to two vegetation fires declared this midday.

The largest fire originated in the municipality of Torrefeta i Florejacs, affecting a provisional area of 72.9 hectares. This situation led to the preventive lockdown of residents in Biosca and Sanaüja, as well as areas near Massoteres. The Bombers de la Generalitat have mobilized around twenty ground crews and several aerial units to control the flames, which started in a cereal field.
At the same time, a second fire has affected the municipality of Savallà del Comtat, forcing the lockdown of the Segura village. In this area, the fire spread from agricultural land to forest vegetation, with twenty crews working to prevent the fire from spreading further.
Furthermore, a third vegetation fire in Martorell has caused the interruption of rail traffic on the R4 and R8 Rodalia lines between Gelida and Martorell Central. The fire, located next to the tracks, forced the power supply to be cut to facilitate extinguishing efforts.
