The Samuel Gili i Gaya institute in Lleida has presented the musical Somnis a Escena, an adaptation of A Chorus Line, marking the end of the Performing Arts course with over a hundred students and the Jove Orquestra del Gili participating.

The show, performed on Thursday at La Llotja, is the culmination of months of interdisciplinary work integrating acting, dance, singing, and live music. This production has become a significant educational and cultural project in the city of Lleida.
The plot of Somnis a Escena follows a group of young hopefuls auditioning for a show in Broadway, New York's theatre district. Through their personal experiences, it explores the dreams, fears, and sacrifices inherent in the performing arts world.
Since 2012, the educational centre's musical has been a fixture in Lleida's cultural calendar, with hundreds of students participating in previous productions such as Fama, Sweeney Todd, Los Miserables, and West Side Story.
