The National Institute of Social Security (INSS) has published data on the Minimum Vital Income (IMV) in Lleida, which in July reached 7,066 households, affecting a total of 24,596 people. The average amount of this benefit in the province stands at 475.04 euros per month per household, a figure slightly lower than the state average of 504.53 euros.
Statistics reveal that, out of the total beneficiaries in Lleida, 11,311 are minors and 13,285 are adults. The analysis of the profile of holders and beneficiaries shows a clear female predominance in receiving the IMV. In July, 3,806 holders and 12,827 beneficiaries were women, while the figures for men were 3,260 holders and 11,768 beneficiaries.
At the state level, July recorded 126,756 active benefits, representing an increase compared to the previous year.
