According to data from the Confederació de Treballadors Autònoms de Catalunya (CTAC), the Administration has issued negative resolutions for 31 out of the 45 requests registered during this period. This figure places the province at the top of denials across Catalunya and among the highest in the country.
The organization points out that access requirements and bureaucratic complexity are the main factors hindering the acquisition of this support. The CTAC believes these figures demonstrate that the benefit, designed as a safety net for business closures, remains inaccessible to a significant portion of the collective.
Self-employed workers over 52 are, according to the entity, the most affected, as they face difficulties in accessing protection equivalent to that of salaried employees. Given this situation, the CTAC is calling for a comprehensive reform to simplify procedures and adapt the system to the current reality of self-employed workers.
