During the session, chaired by representatives of the Paeria and the Department of Interior, the need to strengthen coordination between police forces was highlighted. Data shows that criminal acts have dropped to 7,122, while police effectiveness has grown by 9.5 points, reaching a resolution rate of 53%.
Regarding crime types, robberies with violence have decreased by 13.8% and thefts inside vehicles have fallen by 39.9%. However, an increase in cybercrimes has been detected, especially in computer and banking scams, which have grown by 54.3% and 11.9% respectively.
On the other hand, an increase in reports for non-compliance with municipal ordinances, such as those related to civility or waste, has been observed, rising by 17.10%. These infractions, as noted, affect the public's perception of security, which is why surveillance in this area will be reinforced.
