The rider of a patinete has lost their life in a road incident that occurred on a path near the N-230 highway, in the municipality of Torrefarrera, Segrià. The event took place during the Sant Joan eve.
The exact causes that led to the accident are still being investigated by the relevant authorities. Initially, no other vehicle was found at the scene, although the possible involvement of a third car in the incident has not been ruled out.
The Mossos d'Esquadra received notification of the incident at 8:25 PM. This fatality brings the total number of people who have died in traffic accidents on Catalan roads this year to 65.
