This annual plan includes funding for tourism dissemination and communication actions. This year, a new feature is introduced: an allocation for investment expenses, always linked to tourism activities.
Eligible actions include the installation of permanent promotional elements such as informational vinyls, improving accessibility to tourism offices, installing technological equipment for visitors, creating or renovating regional tourism websites, developing mobile promotion applications, implementing integrated web reservation and registration systems, and producing photographs, videos, and digital content for social media.
The total budget for the plan is 460,000 euros. Of this amount, 355,000 euros will be allocated to tourism promotion actions and the remaining 105,000 euros to investment expenses. Each county council receives 40,000 euros, with exceptions for Cerdanya (20,000 euros) and Val d'Aran, which has its own agreement with the Provincial Council.
This call responds to the needs communicated by the county councils to the Tourism Consortium. The tourism body continues to promote actions to position the Pyrenees and Lleida regions as a leading destination for inland and mountain tourism, and facilitates investments to improve both promotional tools and the visitor experience.
