Last June, the Tourism Board of the Diputació de Lleida, in collaboration with the Spanish Tourism Office of Turespaña in Munich and the support of the Conselh Comarcau de Pallars Jussà, organized a press trip to promote cycle tourism. The initiative focused on the BTT (mountain biking) offerings in Pallars Jussà.
German journalist Adrian Greiter, with extensive experience in cycling reporting, visited the region for six days. During his stay, he was able to undertake various medium-to-high technical level BTT routes and discover the area's most iconic locations.
Greiter will publish a comprehensive report on his experience in the Pallars region in the German magazine Mountainbike Magazin. This publication is a leading reference for mountain biking in the German-speaking market, boasting a circulation of approximately 32,000 copies and an estimated readership of nearly 390,000 per issue, in addition to a strong digital presence in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
This press trip is part of the BTT promotion efforts in the Pyrenees and Terres de Lleida undertaken by the Tourism Board in international markets, with the goal of placing the destination on the European cycling map.
