Lleida City Council is offering a guided tour of the historic Ice Wells, located adjacent to the city walls, on October 25, 2026. The tours are free and part of the Seu Vella Day celebration.

The ancient ice wells of Lleida, a historic site attached to the 'tossal' walls, are opening their doors for a special guided tour. This activity will allow visitors to discover this little-known corner of the city's water heritage.
Two guided tours will be held on Sunday, October 25, 2026. The first will start at 11:00 AM and the second at 12:00 PM. The activity is free of charge and does not require prior registration.
This initiative is part of the Seu Vella Day 2026 celebration, promoting the knowledge and appreciation of Lleida's historical and cultural legacy. The meeting point for the tours will be at the wells themselves, at the top of Santa Cecília park.
