The Grup Dones Lleida entity appeared before the Lleida City Council plenary session to counter criticism of the future center in Balàfia. Their spokesperson emphasized that the project responds to a historic "feminist demand" and will not pose any problem for residents.

Spokesperson Carme Bellet detailed that the space plans to house an entity hotel, day centers, and study rooms. The central point of the project is the inclusion of the Casa Lila, intended for sheltering victims of gender violence.
This project is considered "necessary" and fundamental by the organization to respond to the need for a specialized public reception center, as demanded by the feminist movement in Lleida.
