The tourism sector in the Pyrenees and the Lands of Lleida closed the Christmas, New Year's Eve, and Epiphany campaign with a historic record of over 285,000 ski passes sold, according to the Tourism Board.

The figure of over 285,000 ski passes sold surpasses the previous record of 275,000, registered during the 2010 season. The Vice President of the Lleida Provincial Tourism Board, Juan Antonio Serrano, highlighted the success due to stable weather conditions and the extensive ski offering.

"This data demonstrates that Lleida is a reference destination during the winter months and that skiing is one of the engines of the mountain regions."

Average occupancy in accommodations (hotels, bungalows, and rural tourism houses) stood at 71% between December 25 and the end of the campaign, nearly reaching full capacity during New Year's Eve. In the Lands of Lleida, occupancy ranged between 50% and 80%.
The Baqueira Beret resort was the most visited, registering around 190,000 skiers. The resorts managed by Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat (FGC), grouped under the Pirineus365 brand, accumulated over 195,000 visitors, with notable figures at Boí (over 32,200) and Port Ainé (over 27,000).

"Clients have been able to enjoy the snow and the landscape, although overnight stays are increasingly shorter."
