The town of Blanes hosted the 12th edition of the Oncolliga't en Marxa this Sunday, a charity initiative that reached a historic figure of 1,300 participants.

The event, which started and finished at the Passeig de Mar, far exceeded the organization's initial expectations of 800 registered participants. This increase in turnout consolidates the event as one of the most significant solidarity gatherings in the municipality.
The 8-kilometer route, characterized by its low difficulty, allowed groups of friends, families, and people with pets to complete the course either walking or running. The primary goal of the day is to raise funds for comprehensive care services for cancer patients and their families, provided by Oncolliga Girona.
The success of the day was made possible through the collaboration of various entities and companies, as well as the logistical support from the Grup Fondistes Blanes and the Local Police, who ensured safety throughout the event. Furthermore, the organizers highlighted the contribution of students from the Col·legi Cor de Maria, who assisted with support tasks as part of their school community service.
