Mossos d'Esquadra have arrested a 29-year-old man in Lloret de Mar for drug trafficking and electricity fraud, after discovering 121.5 kilograms of marijuana in a residence.

The police operation began following suspicions of illicit activity in a property on Pau Picasso street. These suspicions were raised by a strong marijuana odor and an electricity consumption six times higher than usual for a household.
During a search of the premises, officers found 121.5 kilograms of marijuana buds, estimated to be worth around 219,000 euros on the illicit market. Additionally, an illegal connection to the electricity grid was discovered, leading to further investigation for electricity fraud.
The arrested man, aged 29 and with no prior police record, is set to appear before the court in Blanes. The investigation remains ongoing, and further arrests are not ruled out.
