Imatge genèrica d'una ruta de senderisme o cicloturisme amb vegetació exuberant i un riu a la comarca de la Selva.
The officials responsible for the Tourdera project will present the hiking and cycling route, connecting Montseny with the Mediterranean, at the International Tourism Fair of Madrid (FITUR) on January 15, 2026.
The presentation of the Tourdera project, which follows the course of the Tordera river and the Arbúcies stream, will take place at the International Tourism Fair of Madrid (FITUR) on January 15, 2026. This initiative aims to connect the Montseny Natural Park with the Mediterranean, linking destinations on the Costa Brava and the Costa de Barcelona.
The route is designed for hikers and cyclists, promoting a tourism model based on nature, sustainability, and local experience. It integrates a total of 18 municipalities across the regions of La Selva, Vallès Oriental, and Maresme, including towns such as Blanes, Malgrat de Mar, Tordera, and Arbúcies.
“
"It is an opportunity to give visibility to little-known natural and territorial resources, de-seasonalize tourism, and redistribute visitors towards inland municipalities."
The presentation at FITUR primarily aims to position Tourdera as an attractive proposal for the national and international market, highlighting the natural, cultural, and sports diversity of the territory. The project seeks to consolidate itself as a sustainable and regenerative tourism initiative, with new actions planned starting in 2026.
“
"Current tourism is committed to value and quality, combining authentic experiences with sustainability and territorial cohesion. Projects like Tourdera structure the territory and promote it jointly."
