New naturalized small square in Lloret de Mar.

The Lloret de Mar City Council has completed the creation of a new naturalized small square at the edge of the Sa Caleta parking lot, as part of the municipal strategy to increase green spaces.

The project was carried out in coordination with the works for the new Sa Caleta roundabout, located at the intersection of Pau Casals Avenue and Camprodon i Arrieta promenade. This transformation has allowed for the reconversion of approximately 500 square meters, previously used for motorcycle parking, into a new resting area for pedestrians.
The space has been enhanced with new trees, palm trees, garden areas, and a modern irrigation system. New urban furniture has also been installed to make it a pleasant place for citizens. In parallel, the council has redistributed the motorcycle parking, increasing its total capacity from 107 to 121 spaces.
Furthermore, the City Council has announced an upcoming intervention at the Sardana children's park. The project includes expanding the play area by about 50 square meters, completely renovating the children's elements, and partially landscaping this recreational space.
