The Lloret de Mar City Council has announced two key innovations in its Green Zone regulation system, aiming to enhance the parking experience for all users. From September 7th, visitors not registered in the municipality can park for free during the first hour in this zone. After 60 minutes, a rate of 0.049 euros per minute will apply, although obtaining the corresponding ticket will still be necessary.
The second significant modification involves expanding the criteria for obtaining a Green Zone authorization. This now extends to first-degree relatives of current holders, provided they meet the established requirements. This measure seeks to address the needs of more families connected to the municipality.
Regarding the Property Tax (IBI), non-residents who pay taxes in Lloret de Mar can obtain a parking authorization for a fee of 61.45 euros. This possibility now extends to their first-degree relatives, including parents, siblings, or children.
For sports licenses, the possibility of obtaining authorization is also extended to first-degree relatives of holders who meet the requirements. This measure aims to facilitate parking access for families involved in local sports activities.
The new conditions also cover individuals who have an economic activity or work in Lloret de Mar, extending the authorization to their first-degree relatives according to the established terms.

With these new measures, the City Council aims to make parking more accessible and facilitate mobility for residents, visitors, workers, and all individuals connected to Lloret de Mar.
