The Tossa de Mar City Council has ordered the closure of terraces at two restaurants near the Ses Hores tower, in the old town, due to the severe deterioration of the infrastructure.

Protection work on the Ses Hores tower and the Codolar tower has revealed a more serious deterioration than expected in the former. Consequently, the council has expanded the safety perimeter, directly affecting the terraces of the two hospitality establishments.
The mayor of Tossa, Martí Pujals, emphasized that the measure is being taken to ensure public safety, rather than to begin wall repair work at this time.
The local hospitality sector regrets that this decision coincides with the beginning of the tourist season, a crucial period for their revenue.
