Trains on the R11 and RG1 lines experienced disruptions this Wednesday afternoon, with single-track operation between Riells and Caldes de Malavella due to a tree falling onto the tracks.

The incident led to extended journey times for trains approaching the affected area, as reported by Renfe. This situation caused potential additional delays beyond usual schedules.
Furthermore, the R11 line's service was temporarily suspended earlier in the afternoon between Caldes de Malavella and Girona stations due to a person on the tracks. The situation normalized shortly after the individual was removed.
A similar incident, also caused by a person on the tracks, affected the line between Mollet-Sant Fost and Montmeló stations at midday. Once these issues were resolved, train schedules gradually returned to normal.
