Marketgoers can discover new offerings such as plants and flowers, personalized bouquets, seasonal fruits and vegetables grown in local gardens, artisanal candles, decorative items, regional honey, hypoallergenic jewelry, accessories, fruit trees, cacti, bonsai, and hanging plants.
The six new additions include Mercaflor (plants, flowers, and bouquets), L’hort de la Laura (seasonal garden produce, local and Km0), El Racó de Lily (handmade aromatic and decorative candles and gift items), Mels del Montnegre (varieties of artisanal and local honey), Modas Loli (hypoallergenic jewelry and accessories), and Rutacactuss (fruit trees, cacti, and hanging plants).
The selection of applications was based on complementing the existing market by introducing new or underrepresented products, while avoiding an excessive concentration of similar stalls. The aim is to establish a more diverse, balanced, and appealing market.
With this expansion, the City Council seeks to bolster the presence of artisanal, local, and self-produced goods, providing a more comprehensive shopping experience. This new phase also includes plans for innovations and promotional activities to increase the market's visibility and appeal to residents and visitors.
