On the occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, Sant Hilari Sacalm is organizing an exhibition at the library to remember the women of the town who suffered during the war and post-war periods.

The exhibition, taking place on November 25th, seeks to bring to light the stories of women who endured repression, humiliation, loneliness, and silence simply for being women during the war and post-war era. The aim is to honor these silenced women.
To create the exhibition, public collaboration is requested. A photograph of the women to be honored, their full name, and a brief text detailing their story are needed. Paper photographs will be scanned at the library and returned to their owners.
Contributions can be submitted in several ways: by sending information via email to biblioteca@santhilari.cat, via WhatsApp message to 972868008, or by personally sharing the story at the library.
