The presentation event, held on October 20th, served to remember the career of Busquets i Punset and to showcase the materials that can be consulted there, thanks to the donation from his grandchildren, siblings Jordi and Montserrat Soler Busquets.
The space includes a selection of books from his personal library, volumes dedicated by authors such as Víctor Català and Apel·les Mestres, collections of magazines like Joventut and Jorba, portraits of other cultural figures, and awards from the Jocs Florals.
“"We return to Anton Busquets i Punset because we haven't finished with him and he still has much to tell us."
The event's commissioner, Narcís Figueras, advocated for the continued study of Busquets i Punset's work, emphasizing that new perspectives allow for different questions to be posed and new research avenues to be opened.
Anton Busquets i Punset (1876-1934) was born in Sant Hilari Sacalm and was notable not only as a writer but also for his role in the renewal of Catalan education, participating in the founding of the Escoles Catalanes Mossèn Cinto Verdaguer.
