Judit Canals, a technician from Adlsolcar's School-Business project, presented the guide during the Solsonès Employment Table, aimed at sector agents.
This initiative addresses the need to provide academic and labor orientation professionals with structured information aligned with the territorial reality. The goal is to improve the support for young people in their study choices and in defining their professional projects.
The guide offers a joint view of the labor and business market, including data on companies with over 25 employees, most in-demand professional profiles, skills valued by companies, occupations with future prospects, and available training pathways in the area.
The document is divided into seven thematic blocks. It covers the territory's characterization, the business fabric, the most hired occupations with detailed profiles, transversal skills, and the competency-based selection process. It also includes the region's vocational training offerings, programs like Escola-Empresa and internships, and local orientation and employment resources.
The 'The future begins here' guide is primarily intended for educational and labor orientation professionals, but it will also be a useful tool for families, high school students, training centers, and other stakeholders involved in the region's economic and educational development.
It is conceived as a practical and lasting tool, which will be complemented by updates through the SolCar Observatory. According to Judit Canals, the guide strengthens the connection between education, orientation, and the labor market, grounding decisions in knowledge of territorial needs.
The guide has been shared with agents present at the Solsonès Employment Table, including the County Council's services, the Youth Office, employment and training programs, and the Local Development Agency. It will also be presented shortly at the Cardona Employment Table.
