The Solsona City Council activated the municipal Civil Protection Plan on Saturday, January 17, following intense rainfall that caused river overflow and the closure of several local roads.

The intense rainfall throughout Saturday forced the Solsona council to declare Emergency 1 due to flood risk. The main recommendation is to avoid riverbank areas due to increased flow and the danger of new overflows.
Road disruptions have been significant, including the closure of the Cal Pateto road, the route leading to Prefabricats El Tossal, and the bridge connecting Tints and Font del Corb streets, located below the Post Office building. The Font del Corb road near the Cal Meix junction was also closed.
In addition to road closures, several landslides were recorded, particularly in the Mare de la Font park and the Sant Bernat area. The council stresses the need for extreme caution and following emergency services instructions to ensure pedestrian and vehicle safety.
