The operation, conducted this Friday evening with intensive checks in Tarragona, El Vendrell, Valls, and Reus, led to the apprehension of five people with outstanding judicial warrants and three others for drug trafficking.
As a result of the operation, a total of 45 fines were issued. Of these, 36 are related to the possession of narcotic substances, while the remaining nine are for possessing prohibited weapons. Additionally, four vehicles were immobilized in Reus, and 41 traffic violations were recorded, including six for lacking or having a revoked driving license.
Agents from the National Police, local police, and urban guard from the regions of Tarragonès, Baix Penedès, Alt Camp, and Baix Camp collaborated in the operation. During the checks, two tools and jewelry were seized, the origin of which could not be verified by their holders. Four venue inspections were also carried out, where Labor Inspection identified two undocumented workers.
