The Micròmic del Morell festival concluded its first edition this weekend, focusing on podcasts, comedy, and new cultural formats, receiving positive feedback from the City Council and plans for its consolidation.

This new festival, promoted by the local Department of Culture and Festivities, offered two intense days at the Teatre Auditori. The program was diverse, including live recordings, humor sessions, musical performances, and participatory spaces, with a special focus on Ràdio Morell and young local talents.
Public attendance during the first day was moderate, although the podcast La Xocolata del Lloro managed to gather around a hundred attendees, creating a very favorable atmosphere. The Micròmic Obert space, in collaboration with the Col·lectiu Risses, also saw good public attendance on Friday night, despite more limited participation on stage.
On Saturday, some proposals such as La Figuereta or the musical vermouth had more discreet participation. However, the show Mamasita by Charlie Pee, which was supported by the Diputació de Tarragona, stood out as one of the festival's most significant moments.

"We knew it was a new venture that needed time to develop, but we are happy to have laid the groundwork for a unique festival with its own personality. This first edition also helps us identify what worked best and continue working to grow Micròmic in future editions."
