The accumulated data confirm a positive dynamic for the port facilities, which have surpassed the twenty-million-ton mark before entering the final four months of the year. During the month of August alone, the volume of cargo handled was 2,494,071 tons.
Liquid bulk remains the main segment of activity, with 13.11 million tons and a 5.4% growth. Within this group, chemical products increased by 7% and petroleum products by 13.8%. Meanwhile, solid bulk experienced the sharpest rise, with an 11.1% increase, driven especially by agri-food and livestock traffic.
Cruise activity also shows a favorable evolution, with 84,529 accumulated passengers through August, 6.9% more than in 2025. The number of port calls has grown by 25%, reaching 45 operations in the first eight months of the year.
Finally, the port's dynamism is reflected in the increase in vehicle traffic at its access points. Both the Transversal Axis and the Reus and Levante access points have recorded increases in land transport flow, with an overall rise of 4.6% in the total vehicle count.
