Firefighters received the alert about the incident at 13:22. The fire originated in a room of a unit within an 11-story building on Pere Martell street. Fortunately, no one was inside the apartment at the time of the incident.
The flames caused slight damage to two neighboring apartments, affecting the light well area, as well as downpipes and shutters. According to the Firefighters, both the confined and self-evacuated residents are in good health.
As a result of the fire, the apartment where it started has been rendered uninhabitable. Emergency services assisted the affected residents in retrieving their belongings.
