The Festa per Tothom, driven by the Functional Diversity and Disability department of the Tarragona City Council, reaches its 36th edition with a new visual identity aimed at reflecting the program's evolution as a cornerstone of accessibility, inclusion, and active participation in the main festival.
The main event will take place this Saturday with a parade starting at 11 AM in front of the former Bank of Spain building, proceeding along Rambla Nova to the Balcó del Mediterrani. Various giant figure groups and the inclusive batucada Batukaselva will participate.
Following the parade, participants will descend to the warehouses of the Port of Tarragona for a communal lunch. The Festa per Tothom will also have a significant presence during the central events of Santa Tecla, including the 'Arrencada dels Gegants' (Giants' Start) and the Opening Speech, which this year will be delivered by Álvaro and Rubén, figures from LaLiga Genuine Moeve and captains of Nàstic Genuine, with Catalan Sign Language (LSC) interpretation.
Throughout the festival, accessibility measures will be maintained, such as LSC interpretation, reserved spaces, adapted transport and sanitary services, and the 'quiet street' on Santa Anna street for individuals with sensory hypersensitivities.
A new initiative, the pilot project Festa amb Tu (Festival with You), focuses on person-centered care, offering individualized support with volunteers from the Quilòmetre Zero Association to facilitate active and safe participation for people with disabilities.
