The second edition of the participatory budgets for La Pobla de Mafumet has reached its final stage. After receiving 25 proposals from the citizens, the council has selected ten finalists who are in contention to receive a municipal budget allocation of 50,000 euros.

The selected proposals address various areas of interest for the municipality, including improvements to public spaces, sports facilities, popular culture, and municipal services. This initiative allows residents over 16 years of age to play an active role in decisions regarding public investment.

The voting to choose the winning projects will be open until May 31st via the digital platform Decidim. Each participant can vote for up to three proposals. To facilitate participation, the City Council has also set up points for in-person assistance.
