The garden of the El Morell Town Hall will host on Thursday, August 20th, at 10 PM, the performance of Giuseppe Verdi's opera 'La Traviata', as part of the second event in the ninth edition of Summer Thursdays.

The performance will feature interpretations and explanations by soprano Sara Bañeras, tenor Jesús Piñeiro, and baritone Joan Garcia. The opera tells the love story between Violeta, a young courtesan, and Alfred, a young man from a high social class, which faces opposition from Alfred's father, Germont.
The Summer Thursdays, organized by the Department of Culture and Festivals of the El Morell Town Hall, offer a free and open-access program during the evenings of August and early September. The cycle began with a traditional habaneras singing.
The next activity in the series will be on August 27th with outdoor cinema in Francesc Macià square, where the family film Zootròpolis 2 will be screened.
