A total of 51 municipalities in the Tarragona province are currently facing a very high risk of forest fire, according to the daily map compiled by the Rural Agents.

The forecast of rising temperatures for this Sunday has significantly increased the fire risk in the province's forests. This situation follows three forest fires that broke out on Saturday in the municipal areas of Querol, Flix, and Riudecols.
The inland areas of Terres de l'Ebre and Priorat are the most affected, with very high danger in almost all their municipalities. Isolated towns in the Baix Camp, Baix Ebre, and Conca de Barberà regions are also included in this list.
Specifically, in Terra Alta, 11 municipalities are at very high risk, with the exception of Arnes. Ribera d'Ebre has all 14 of its municipalities in this situation. In Priorat, 22 out of 23 municipalities are affected, while Cornudella de Montsant registers a high risk.
The list of municipalities with very high danger is completed by Passanant i Belltall and Senan (Conca de Barberà), Colldejou (Baix Camp), and Benifallet (Baix Ebre).
On Saturday, emergency teams had to respond to three forest fires in the region. A low-intensity fire in Flix required nine ground crews and two helicopters. In Querol, a fire mobilized 15 ground crews and six aerial resources, burning four hectares and being controlled by the afternoon. Finally, another forest fire in Riudecols was stabilized in the evening.
